Target gets real with moms.
Motherhood used to be perfect. Filled with giggles and gurgles. That was before “The Girlfriend’s Guide to Pregnancy” became the best seller for first time moms. This talked about unsightly bumps and farts, painting a far from perfect picture of motherhood. And women loved it. So when it came to talking to these women about the baby department at Target, we took out the saccharine and got real. Real, it turns out, is better than perfect.
Bringing a modern twist to a traditional holiday.
The cheap-chic retailer is beloved for modernizing everything from the tea kettle to a toaster. So we put a modern twist on the traditional retail Christmas campaign. Starting with Christmas music. We worked with up and coming artists to create a modern Christmas album. Each song had a theme and a genre. The album ranged from rock to rap songs about everything from Christmas lights to tiny Christmas trees that people can find at Target. Christmas magic from Target, circa 2010.
