113 STRANGERS, ONE TABLE: TEREMANA® TEQUILA LAUNCHES SHARE THE MANA, SHARE THE TABLE
In a time when connection often feels like a luxury, Teremana® Tequila is doubling down on what really matters: bringing people together. The small-batch tequila brand, founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has launched a new initiative titled Share The Mana, Share The Table—a program designed to remind us that good energy is contagious, and that even a simple conversation over a drink can spark something meaningful.
For Teremana®, the word “Mana” isn’t just a brand slogan—it’s a deeply rooted philosophy. In Polynesian culture, Mana represents spiritual power, energy, and presence. Johnson has spoken often about how this idea shaped not only his upbringing but also the way he approaches business, family, and now, the tequila that bears the name. With this latest initiative, the goal is simple but powerful: to take the spirit of Mana beyond the bottle and into everyday moments of connection, gratitude, and positivity.
The program kicked off on September 10th in Los Angeles at Skylight ROW DTLA, a creative and vibrant venue located in the heart of the city’s expanding Arts District. There, 113 guests—chosen as a nod to the 113 distillations Johnson personally tasted while perfecting Teremana®—were invited to sit down together at one long table. They came from different backgrounds and walks of life, and many didn’t know each other before the event. What united them was the opportunity to connect over conversation, delicious food, and cocktails made with Teremana®’s signature highland tequila. What unfolded was a true expression of the brand’s mission: strangers becoming friends, curiosity turning into community, and a reminder that good energy doesn’t just happen—it’s shared.
The event marked the start of a broader campaign that will roll out in cities across the U.S. through 2025 and 2026. But this isn’t just a dinner series. It’s a movement meant to spark a global shift in how we think about connection. Through a parallel social media campaign, Teremana® is encouraging people everywhere to participate—whether by hosting their own gatherings, sharing a drink with someone new, or simply taking a moment to show up with presence and positivity.
There’s compelling data behind this initiative, too. A 2024 Pew Research study found that only 54% of Americans feel a connection to their local community. Meanwhile, research from the University of Chicago shows that people regularly underestimate the joy that comes from talking to strangers. In short, we’re built for connection—but sometimes we forget just how powerful a small interaction can be. Share The Mana, Share The Table is Teremana®’s answer to that disconnect: an invitation to slow down, pull up a chair, and experience the kind of joy that only comes when we’re truly present with one another.
Dwayne Johnson put it best when he said, “Mana has always been a part of my life and my culture. It’s the spirit and energy we bring into every room and every interaction. With Teremana®, we’ve worked to share that feeling in every bottle, but this initiative takes it even further. Share The Mana, Share The Table is about creating a real platform for people to learn about the power of coming together, connecting, and feeling that contagious positive energy.”
For the hospitality industry—especially bartenders and bar teams who build community one cocktail at a time—this movement feels like a reflection of what we already know: people don’t just come to the bar for drinks. They come for connection, for conversation, and for a little bit of the magic that happens when we gather with others. With Share The Mana, Share The Table, Teremana® isn’t just offering another tequila moment—it’s offering a reason to raise your glass to something deeper.
