THE Ask
To launch Jon Batiste’s new World Music Radio album, we were tasked with redefining and repositioning the category “world music” to be more inclusive of… music from around the world.
THE Insight
Any type of music that isn’t based in the US or the UK is categorized as “world music.” This marginalizes, silos and stereotypes the cultures that make the music.
